A native of Virginia Beach, I started making accessories at eleven with my very first project being a handbag made out of jean pockets. That day turned in to the beginning of a life-long journey.

In 2007, I moved to New York City to study at the Fashion Institute of Technology, where I received my BFA in Accessories Design. After a decade designing handbags for some of America’s biggest brands including Coach, Fossil, Rebecca Minkoff, Lilly Pulitzer and Victoria’s Secret, I decided to move back to Virginia.

After attending a hand stitching workshop at RISD in 2016, I set aside my sewing machines and began focusing on the ancient art of hand stitched leather goods. With two hands, two needles and thread, each item slowly takes form stitch by stitch. This process is yields a more durable stitch than sewing machines, creating products built to last. From poking each stitch hole to burnishing the edges for a clean finish, each bag is made with attention to even the tiniest of details. Using (mostly) neutral color leathers and minimal hardware, the aesthetic of Kristin Paige accessories perfectly pairs with any outfit and any adventure!

I strive to create unique, thoughtfully designed, season-less pieces that will get better with age. From leather and thread to hardware and tools, nearly every element of what goes in to making a bag is sourced from small businesses in America and each piece is made to order to avoid excess waste. Inspired by anything from travel experiences to beautiful materials, new designs are created organically with no timeline to rush the process. Accessories have been my passion for two decades, and I’m excited to be sharing it with you!
